Good Health
Without Medicines
Intensive Introduction (suitable

The World Health Organization
defines good health as "a state of complete physical, mental and social
well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity". Such
good health is only possible when the body, mind and spirit are in
perfect condition and in harmony with nature. It is quite natural
that occasionally, because of human indiscretions or neglect, one or
more of these get affected or out of tune. In such cases it
becomes necessary to bring them back to good condition. Nature has
given the human body its own defenses and recuperating powers and they
can work wonders provided they are given the chance and the time to act.
Modern invasive medicines offer a quick way of alleviating the symptoms;
yet, without exception, they all leave behind some adverse
after-effects. The presentation following, aims to spread the
message of minimal dependence on medicines.
This course explores four major methodologies for fighting ailments
effectively and immediately without the use of medicines. The four
primary methodologies are:
Tatva Yoga Mudra Vigyan
Chinese Massage
Natural Food Items
Healthy practices
When all the above are combined to provide a regimen, it forms a very
potent combination to help the body fight the intruders - the diseases -
effectively and without any detrimental effects.
| SYSTEM: |
1. Tatva
Yoga Mudra Vigyan
|
| |
The human
fingers are as unique to each human being as their
fingerprints. When these are folded in specific patterns (Mudras),
individually or in combination, they exert a tension on the
nerve(s). This tension is determined by the individuals shape
and size of the fingers and is exactly what that
individual's body requires for the ailment that the specific Mudra is to work on. The system therefore, is a neural
science because Mudras work on the nerves.
-
Known as Mudra Vigyan in short, it is extensively described in the Mantra
Shastra, Upasana Shastra and Nritya Shastras. The system is
a distinct branch of Yoga. It involves exerting tension on
the nerves by folding one’s fingers in particular postures
and holding them for specific periods.
-
Mudras also
effect changes in veins, tendons, glands and sense organs.
-
Mudras need no
prior preparation and can be practiced as and when necessary
under all circumstances.
-
Some Mudras
show results within seconds and minutes while some may take
longer.
-
Mudras can be
quickly and effectively used as first aid.
-
Mudras, with
long-term practice, can bring about permanent changes in
disposition - mental (anger, emotional instability etc.),
spiritual (lack of concentration etc.) or physical (curing
various diseases / illnesses).
|
| |
Examples of a few important Mudras and their spheres of
influence are:
Gyan
Mudra:
Vayu Mudra:
Shunya Mudra:
Apan-Vayu Mudra:
Pran Mudra:
Other Mudras:
Atmanjali, Aakash
Apan, Shankh
Meao, Surabhi
Ling, Varun, Surya
Vyana, Saman
Yoni, Mahakranta
Singhakranta etc. |
For
stresses & strains, Insomnia, Emotional
instability, Indecisiveness, Excessive anger, Laziness, Increasing IQ and memory retention this Mudra is incomparable.
Relief from wind accumulations in the stomach
and wind based pains and aches anywhere in the body.
Improves impaired hearing, cures earaches in
minutes, and helps in nausea, vertigo, and travel sickness.
Incomparable in cases of heart attacks. Helps in tacho-cardia, palpitations, depressions and sinking feeling.
To restore body vitality and self-confidence. It
gives body inner sustenance when deprived of food and water.
To center the conscious mind and increase its
receptivity, Weakness of bones, Urinary
problems, Indigestion, Speech defects like
stammering or stuttering, Low or High Blood
pressures, Chronic fatigue, Skin ailments -
dryness etc.. Obesity, Colds, Constipation
and Stomach problems, Loss of spiritual aura,
Loss of virility, Check on uncontrolled passion
are some of the fields these Mudras cover. |
|
| |
This is only an indicative list. There are over 50 more
therapeutic Mudras researched so far, covering a very vast
field of ailments and diseases.

2.
Chinese Massages
|
| |
Chinese medical
systems are not only as ancient as ours but highly
efficacious too. We are all familiar with Acupressure
and Acupuncture, which have gained worldwide publicity and
following because of the miraculous results they have shown.
Chinese massages are another from the same treasure house.
The subject is too wide but to explain it in brief:
-
Any part of the
body can be massaged in myriad ways. For example:
- Rubbing the upper skin over the underlying skin
- Rubbing and twisting the upper skin over the underlying
skin
- Pinching the skin
- Pinching and twisting the skin
- Tapping the part repeatedly
- Applying repeated pressure over the part
- Rolling over the part with a clenched fist and so on
-
Different parts
of the body may be suited only for specific types of massage
or a combination of such massages.
-
Different types
of massages may be required for different types of ailments.
-
Massages may
need to be varied in intensity and frequency to provide the
necessary curative effect and relieve specific symptoms.
|
| |
The underlying principle is the same as for other types of
massages, viz. stimulation of blood flow and muscular
relaxation.
-
Chinese
massages are most effective
-
They can be
used for various ailments
-
They have no
harmful side effects and need no special instruments or
medications.
-
They provide a
feeling of relaxation and well-being.
-
They can be
learnt easily.
-
They can be
applied at any place, anytime and need no prior preparation.
|
| |
The author has successfully used these massages for giving
relief in or in curing:
|
| |
Migraine,
Miscellaneous headaches, General Lethargy,
Sleeplessness,
Asthma, Painful menstruation,
Abdominal pains, Bed-wetting,
Leg Cramps, Baby’s milk vomiting
Coughs and Phlegm removal, etc.

3.
Foods for Health
|
| |
The importance
of diet has always been acknowledged by almost everyone
involved with healing or curing.
The Indian cuisine is something special in this regard
because each and every condiment used in cooking has been
selected with an eye on it’s therapeutic properties.
It is a pity that we now take these only as specifics for a
cure and not as part of the food, which would invariably
keep the disease at bay in the first place.
Consider this:
-
Hot water
gargles done in tandem with rock salt, bay leaf and cinnamon
can cover almost the entire broad-spectrum range of
antibiotics and help heal the throat faster.
-
A teaspoonful
of Turmeric powder, boiled in a cupful of milk and taken at
bedtime, can relieve Influenza and body aches
overnight.
-
A large resin
in which the seeds have been removed and replaced by equal
volume of white rock salt, if taken twice a day for a few
days will dissolve and clear the system of phlegm.
-
Milk and lemon
juice in the right proportion can stop watery loose
motions literally in minutes.
-
Black gram can
lower cholesterol.
|
| |
There are innumerable such miraculous and harmless cures,
which have been tried over the years and have consistently
given results.

4.
Routine Habits
|
| |
Proper routine habits can make a world of a difference.
No one would appreciate this fact better than a member of
the Armed forces because they are wedded to discipline, as
indeed every citizen should be. However, there are
many small things that, if made a part of our daily routine
can help prevent many diseases. Consider this:
-
Keeping teeth
closed, while passing excreta or urine will help prevent
gum decay.
-
Washing the
eyes in a specific manner will take the same time but will
prevent Myopia and indeed can reverse it in the
earlier stages.
-
Proper
breathing techniques increase the feeling of well-being
because of the extra regular Oxygen intake. And so on.

Plants for Cures
|
| |
ASTHMA
MIGRAINE
ARTHRITIS |
| |
-
The author
helps people suffering from Asthma by means of the
leaves of a certain plant. Administered with suitable
instructions the cure takes only 3 days and has shown a cure
rate of approx 40% total cures and 30% showing improvement
between 50-80%.
-
During a
Migraine attack, the author has been able to help almost
all the patients to get rid of the pain within minutes,
without using any medicines. If the guidance given is
followed, there should be no further attacks.
-
The leaves of a
plant boiled in water and the water taken once a day, show
remarkable results in the cure of Sciatica and Rheumatoid
Arthritis within the month and can make the pains
disappear altogether with time.
There are many such cures with which the author helps
people.
