Dr. Eva Zhang, M.D., MS
Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine and
the Use of Medicinal Foods

Eva Zhang is a medical doctor and associate professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University (since 1995), as well as a third-generation practitioner and the owner of a well-known TCM clinic here in Shanghai.  She is a respected authority in the field of TCM and has authored three textbooks, two clinic books, and numerous published treatises and discourses on TCM both here and abroad.  Having spent six years living, practicing, and lecturing on TCM in America and the UK, Eva is well acquainted with the complementary relationship between Eastern and Western Medicine.  She is also currently a staff doctor at the Shanghai East International Hospital and an active advisor for the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, a standard reference manual containing a list of medicinal drugs with their effects and directions for use.  Eva has been in medical practice for nearly 30 years, uniquely combining the philosophical and clinical perspectives of both western and traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of common and uncommon diseases, with particular specialties in stress management, diet, gynecology, pediatrics, allergies, skin and joint conditions as well as digestive conditions.  Dr. Zhang has also administered several natural science funds and headed a variety of government research projects.
