The demand for TEFL
teachers in China has never been so great and continues to increase
every day. Whether you have never taught before or are already teaching
and want to improve your skills, this class offers a comprehensive
approach to highly-effective teaching for all levels, from beginner to
advanced. Drawing upon the most current developments in EFL learning
theory and teaching methodology, this course covers everything from
teaching simple vocabulary to kindergarteners to teaching
industry-specific business English to corporate executives. You will be
trained in various approaches to teaching vocabulary, grammar, reading,
phonetics and pronunciation, conversation, listening comprehension,
idioms, and communicative language learning, as well as the effective
use and adaptation of instructional materials, developing lesson plans,
presentation skills, interactive classroom activities, the use of visual
and other learning aids, student-assessment techniques, and various
advanced teaching styles. Students will have an opportunity to put into
practice the principles they learn through peer teaching and twelve
hours of actual classroom teaching practice in affiliated schools. Upon completion of the
class, students will possess the knowledge, skills, and confidence to
teach EFL effectively in any learning environment. Job-placement
assistance is provided.
A TEFL Certificate will be
issued to each student upon successful completion of the course.
